Rise Kids Volunteer Form

Rise Kids Nursery (6week- 23 months): Engage, play with, rock, feed, and pray over our babies ensuring they are well attended to, loved, nourished, and safe. Rise Kids PreSchool (2yr olds – 4yr olds): Guide preschoolers to learn about God through play, a brief video lesson, and a hands-on activity. Rise Kids Elementary: (K-5th Grade): Our lower and upper elementary students spend the first half of their time together worshipping, being invited to give, playing games, and hearing a lesson. After the lesson, Lower & Upper Elementary Lead Teachers break the students into small groups. Lower Elementary (K – 3rd Grade): Lead a small group through an activity or interactive discussion with the help of Rise Kids Assistants. Upper Elementary: 4th-5th Grade): Create meaningful relationships with these students by leading a small group discussion with the help of Rise Kids Assistants and inviting children to personally know Jesus. Rise Kids Assistants: Youth ages 12-17 years old who would prefer not to lead a classroom. They will be responsible for helping the lead teacher set up & clean up, interact personally with the children, help the lead teacher manage the classroom, and lead small group activities and discussions after the lesson. Rise Kids Assistants can only serve one time per month. Rise Kids Coordinators: Coordinators volunteer once a month during the week to print/email teachers’ lessons, assemble materials for the months’ lessons, etc. They will also serve once a month on a Sunday as a “floater” to oversee normal operations in all Rise Kids classrooms, to include helping make sure classroom ratios are accurate, assist with bathroom breaks and diapering, and monitor behavior intervention efforts such as spending one-on-one time with children who need additional attention.
